Wheel Throwing Course – Adults (8 Weeks) This 8-week wheel throwing course for adults offers an in-depth and immersive experience for those looking to develop their skills on the pottery wheel. With extended time across the term, students can build confidence, refine technique, and create a range of functional and decorative ceramic pieces. The course focuses on core wheel throwing skills including centering, pulling walls, shaping forms, trimming, and glazing. Students will have the opportunity to explore different forms such as bowls, cups, and cylinders, while receiving individual guidance tailored to their experience level. Course details: • Duration: 8 weeks • Class length: 2.5 hours per week • Suitable for all skill levels (ages 16+) • Step-by-step guidance in wheel throwing techniques • Focus on form, trimming, surface decoration, and glazing • Small class sizes for personalised support • All materials, glazing, and firing included • You will be notified when your work is ready for collection Finished works will be ready for collection approximately 2–3 weeks after the course ends.
